reading the news prints from the entire week, felt disgusted to note the two-three murders of senior citizens. the police is certainly committed to their core competency and will probably nab the perpetrators. however the blaring and ghastly query is whether the deviants will ever face the gallows. its really confounding to note that the judiciary decides which is a heinous crime meriting the 'rarest-of-rare' act category; and then would they accord these scum-of-the-gutter the harshest punishment i.e. hanged-till-death.

and here on-wards the law takes its course with the case being fought in the annals of tonnes of paperwork and arguments and counter-arguments. i was always keen to know how after its formally and definitely confirmed that the murders have been pinned on the criminals, are they still accorded a chance to defend themselves? and to add salt to injury, if in the lifespan of the litigants the criminals are given the death penalty, they also have the right to seek the presidential pardon. I am NOT a practitioner of Law and am venting my spleen for the lack of any credible deterrent.

we now have a new breed of lobbyist who are hell bent on convincing the Indian populace that Death penalty must be abolished. wonder really if they ever have interacted with those who have been at the receiving end of the crime. these jokers (for the lack of any definition in my vocabulary) should be shown the condition of the victims. yet they will drone-up the completely paralytic rationale that 'death penalty hasn't really created a credible deterrent'. ask the layman at large, what he feels, perhaps we would get a sincere perspective if not hedged by the politicians who are ever keen to suck up to garner votes.

appalling is another aspect, children as young as 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 years being raped. what are the jokers in the parliament thinking. i am urged to assume that we reside in a society of utterly shameless and spineless algae. i doubt if these douche bags have ever seen the body of a girl child that has been ravished by a sex-demon. these bastards MUST be hanged ten times over. but why am i venting my spleen, i should as all like minded algae must go back into the slime and let the schizophrenia-laden Indian government run their affairs with equally psychotic elan. I had read of a double murder in borivili (a suburb of mumbai) where a grand mother was murdered and a 2 year old baby was hanged by a steel cable attached to the ceiling fan. don't know what to call those three freaks-born-of-human-feces. they are apparently still fighting a case in the highways of the law.

even better, the Bhotmange-Murders take cruelty to a completely new level. the state machinery botched up the investigation the HC decided to commute the death sentence to life in prison is rubbing the bhut jolokia (google the two words) into bhaiyalal's wounds. my aim isn't to deride the judiciary or take a dig at the up-holders of the law. this is a small and perhaps an irrelevant effort to explore why we haven't made examples of individuals who have no respect for human life and are urged by an unending thirst for blood
